Define your story

We begin with a workshop to assess your flagship product, identify areas for improvement, and clarify how your brand communicates with your audience.

I’ll conduct market research and analyze your competitors to understand their positioning, what’s working for them, and where there’s opportunity for you to stand apart.

Creating a clear foundation

We’ll refine key areas of your brand that impact how customers experience it—including messaging, content, and marketing materials—creating a clearer, more cohesive foundation for your product.

Using insights from Phase 1, I’ll explore design directions and brand positioning for your flagship product. This includes how your messaging and tone of voice translate across your visual identity.

Together, we’ll define the look and feel of your brand across key touchpoints — including logo, social media, packaging, and promotional materials — ensuring everything works cohesively.

By the end of this phase, you’ll have a clear and unified direction for how your brand shows up.

In this phase, I’ll finalize your packaging design and prepare it for print production. This includes a full review for accuracy, compliance, and technical requirements.

Hi, I'm Maria

Food has always been central to my life. I grew up in South Brooklyn’s Russian-speaking community, worked in the food industry and fell in love with it, and lived in Armenia and Lebanon. These experiences inspired me to bring together my two passions: food and design.

I’m a brand designer who specializes in systems design and marketing. I earned my BFA in Communication Design from Parsons and have worked with teams in studios, agencies, and in-house settings. Drawing on these experiences, I founded Pepper Branding to help CPG brands grow through visual storytelling, strong systems, and smart strategies.
